We've included several commercial design case studies in our portfolio of Interior Design projects
We have found that appropriate interior designs can help letting agents quickly find tenants for flats and apartments. This has been particularly true when there has been a glut of similar rental property on the market or if a landlord has a property that is proving particularly difficult to let.
DRESSING A PROPERTY FOR SELLING
In a similar way, dressing a new home for sale can make the difference between the seller getting the full asking price or having to drop the price to tempt a buyer. Developers we have worked with have also found the investment in interior design is paid back several times over in terms of quicker sale and fuller sale price.
Art from the Start welcomes individual and unique projects and we will always be happy to advise how commercial project could benefit from a suitable interior design.
SHOW-HOME INTERIORS
Designing an interior for a show-home is quite a different exercise to dressing a property for sale. In particular the show-home interior has to be much longer lasting and has to impress many more people and persuade them that they too can have a dream home or apartment. Art from the Start has experience designing and implementing show home interiors in properties priced from £150,000 up to £1.3m, and not surprisingly we have experience of helping property buyers recreate their vision of the show-home in their newly purchased home.
PUBLIC SMOKING BAN
From July 2007 smoking in an enclosed public place will be illegal. This will have a big impact on pubs, bars and hotels who will have to make outdoor facilities if they want keep smoking customers. But at the same landlords and owners will have an opportunity to give the pub an interior make-over. In order to attract new non-smoking customers these venues will need to get rid of grubby and smelly curtains and nicotine stained paintwork.
Art from the Start is fully geared up to give pubs "instant" makeovers following the smoking ban and is already working with several pubs across Yorkshire. Call us us to get a quote for new curtains and a new coat of paint.
