SHOW APARTMENT - HISTORIC MILL CONVERSION

INTRODUCTION
Stamford Bridge stands at a vital crossroads where the York to Bridlington road crosses the River Derwent. For nearly 900 years this has been an important location for a mill. The current Cornmill was built in 1591 but it ceased operation in 1964 and was converted into a restaurant in 1967. In 2005 the Cornmill was sympathetically converted into twelve individual two bedroom apartments, whilst retaining original features and even some of the original equipment remains place today.
