WHAT DO I DO NOW?
Simply sit down somewhere comfortable with a pen and our Room Survey Form.
You can either download and print out the Room Survey Form or phone us on the help line and we will post you a paper copy.
Complete the form as thoroughly as you can and give yourself plenty of time to think about your preferences – don’t rush! If you and your partner have differing opinions about the room design please tell us about this.
The more information you can send us about your room and your tastes the better the final design will be. We welcome swatches or samples of fabric (e.g. from a three piece suite or carpet) that you’ve already used or want to use. If you’ve collected magazine clippings that illustrate styles that you particularly like and dislike then feel free to include them with your questionnaire – but make sure you clearly mark them “LIKE” and “DISLIKE” as it would be a shame to get them mixed up!
If you can photograph the room from various angles that would help enormously. You can annotate the photos to tell us what you want to retain or replace in the room.
If you feel comfortable doing a sketch of the room floor plan that would also be helpful. You can even find some graph paper which you can download and print out.
Send your completed Room Survey Form with any photos, magazine clippings, material samples to us together with a cheque made payable to Art from the Start Ltd. Please ensure you use a sturdy or padded envelope!
