LEARN PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN TIPS & TECHNIQUES
Art from the Start also periodically holds Full Day Design Workshops. Our next one is coming up shortly. The workshops are designed for groups of 6-12 people and are a fun and informal way of learning and experimenting with design ideas. Participants are individuals or couples of all ages and backgrounds and this makes for a relaxed yet stimulating event.
INTERIOR DESIGN WORKSHOP DETAILS
Location: Near Stamford Bridge, York (YO41)
Time: 10am-3pm but please arrive at 0945 to ensure a prompt start

Course Tutor: Bronia Suszczenia; Creative Director of Art from the Start and Fabric Gallery and Interiors. Bronia is a fully trained and successful Interior Designer and has a degree in 3D art, design and ceramics and postgraduate teaching qualifications. She has worked for many years in senior teaching roles. She also has experience of soft furnishing retailing and merchandising. Prior to Art from the Start Bronia set up and ran her own crafts and events company.
Workshop Structure: The day will cover three elements:
- Interior Design - The Basic Elements
- Getting It Right
- Creating a Mood Board - a hands on practical session
The tutor will adapt the timing according to the needs of the participants.
Participants: No prior experience assumed or required. Participants do not need to bring any materials, tools or special clothing.
Domestic Arrangements: Coffee, tea will be available free of charge. There will be a break at lunch time. A light sandwich lunch can be arranged (must be pre-booked) Limited car parking will be available We can recommend good quality B&B accommodation near by.
The cost of the workshop is £55 or £95 for a couple booking together (why not bring a friend for a stimulating day out?) and places must be pre-booked.
